Jill Kuramoto

Jill Kuramoto is a veteran journalist with two decades of experience in broadcast news and has received numerous awards and commendations for her work as a reporter and anchor. Most recently, she was the director of Communications for the Hawaii State Senate, providing support for the state’s 25 senators in strategic external and internal relations, community engagement and served as the liaison for local and national media. Previously, she led the Communications Department for the Honolulu Board of Water Supply where she provided strategic communications and crisis management.

Jill has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from San Diego State University. With a passion for community service, Jill serves as the board president for the nonprofit organization, PARENTS, Inc., and is a member of the Selection Committee for the Living Treasures of Hawaii. She is also an active member of the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii.
